iMovie User Guide
You can use AirDrop to transfer an iMovie project or project media to an iPhone or iPad from another iPhone or iPad. For example, you might start a project on an iPhone but want to finish editing on an iPad.
AirDrop works with iOS and iPadOS devices that have a Lightning connector. AirDrop transfers information using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology. You must be on the same Wi-Fi network, or within approximately 30 feet (10 meters) of the other device. Transfers are encrypted for security.
Launch iMovie on iPhone, tap 'Project' 'New Project' 'Movie'. Select media - photos or videos that you would like to add voiceover onto and click 'Create Movie'. Click the Plus button and scroll down to click 'Voiceover'. Then you can click 'Record' to start speaking and adding voiceover to your video. Explore the world of Mac.
